LA FORTUNA NATURE AND WILDLIFE LAGOON The lagoon is very accessible from the City of San Carlos. Though the road is not cemented but it is very passable with all kinds of vehicles. The environment at the lagoon is very calm, you'd think you're in a different world. The lagoon is not good for swimming though but you can go boating and enjoy its placidity together with some ducks around. What i love about it is its surroundings full of trees especially the lined pine trees that it resembles another scenery outside the Philippines. Going into the woods nearby is like getting into the wild where you can only hear the birds and your footsteps. There's a small open cottage provided by the private owner where you can stay, have a picnic or relax a bit. Maybe the place would be more welcoming and the experience more satisfying if swans and other swimming animals will be put inside the lagoon for added attraction and to have boats for kayaking or boating leisure.
